Introduction
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), CARTOMAC S.R.L. is required as data controller to give you specific information about how and why we process your data, to whom it may be disclosed, and your rights regarding the processing of your personal data.

The information system deployed to operate the website gathers the browsing data during your normal use of the website. These items are sent to us as an inevitable result of communicating via the internet.

We receive data at the customer’s/supplier’s instigation.
How we process your personal data
We shall process your data in line with the principles of data confidentiality, integrity and availability. Your data will be processed both manually and using computers. It will be stored on both electronic and hard-copy media and on any other suitable kind of medium. Your data may also be retained after the contract expires in order to comply with any related obligations. The data controller will process your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the above purposes and, in any event, for at most 2 years after collection.
Why your data is needed – what happens if you refuse to provide it
You have no obligation to provide your data for marketing purposes. If you refuse to do so, then the contract will be fulfilled regardless.
Who may access your personal data
Your personal data may be seen by our employees (and any external staff) appointed to process the data and/or as data supervisors, exclusively insofar as it is necessary for them to do their jobs and for the above purposes.
Your personal data may also be seen by some specific organisations outside our company, as external data supervisors, to fulfil the obligations under the working relationships in place.

Your rights
You may exercise your rights regarding your data under article 15 of the GDPR, i.e. to receive confirmation as to whether or not personal data about you is being processed and, if so, to gain access to that data, to have it corrected or to restrict how it is processed.
Where applicable, you also have the rights under articles 16–21 of the GDPR (the right to be forgotten, the right to obtain a portable copy of your data, and the right to object to your data being processed) and the right to complain to the supervisory authority.
